For Schools and Referrers
A different pathway when education feels difficult
At Wild Green Blossoms, we work alongside schools, families and professionals to support girls and young women who may be struggling to access or engage with mainstream education.
We understand that sometimes a young person needs more than a change of timetable or a different lesson. They may need somewhere calm, supportive and nurturing where they can rebuild their confidence, feel understood and begin to reconnect with learning.
Our aim is to provide that space, while working alongside the people already supporting her.
We support girls and young women aged 11–18 who may be experiencing anxiety, low confidence, SEMH, additional needs, social difficulties, challenging experiences or disengagement from education.
Every young person is different, so we take time to understand her individual needs, circumstances and goals before deciding whether Wild Green Blossoms is the right fit.

Small Group Support
Our small-group provision offers a calm and supportive alternative to a busy mainstream classroom.
Being part of a small group gives young people the opportunity to build positive relationships, develop communication and social skills, grow in confidence and experience learning in an environment that feels manageable.
1:1 Support
For young people who need a more individual approach, our 1:1 sessions provide dedicated time and space to focus on their wellbeing, confidence, interests and personal goals.
This can be particularly valuable for girls who find group environments overwhelming or who need additional support to take their first steps towards re-engaging with learning.

Year 6 Transition Support
Moving from primary to secondary school can feel like a huge step.
Our Year 6 transition support gives girls who may be feeling anxious or uncertain about secondary school a safe place to explore those worries, build confidence and develop strategies to help them feel more prepared for the move into Year 7.
What does a session look like?
Sessions at Wild Green Blossoms are about more than sitting at a desk.
Sessions can include art and creative expression, mindfulness and relaxation, journaling, emotional wellbeing work, confidence and resilience activities, life skills, social development and practical experiences.
Activities are shaped around the young people we are supporting, giving them opportunities to discover interests, express themselves, develop new skills and experience success.
Working together
We believe the best outcomes happen when everyone works together.
We aim to build positive relationships with referring schools and professionals, keeping communication open and ensuring that support is centred around the young person's needs and agreed goals.
We can work with schools to monitor attendance, wellbeing and progress, share relevant updates and consider the next steps for each young person.
Where appropriate, this may include supporting a return to mainstream education, a transition to another educational setting or progression towards further education, training or employment.
More than somewhere else to go
Wild Green Blossoms isn't simply about providing an alternative place to attend.
It is about creating the right conditions for a young person to grow.
To feel safe.
To build trust.
To discover her strengths.
To find her confidence.
And, when she is ready, to take her next step.
Could Wild Green Blossoms be right for a young person you support?
If you are a school, SENCO, DSL, local authority professional or parent and would like to explore whether our provision could be suitable, we would love to hear from you.
There is no pressure and no expectation. We are always happy to have an initial conversation and talk through a young person's needs.
